14 Marcuse Fields Bosham

Our brief was to improve the overall layout and to extend the west end of the house.

We rearranged the east end of the house to create a larger kitchen and dining area.

We also removed the existing staircase and redesigned the hall and landing with a simple oak staircase with glazed balustrading. The clients were keen to give the staircase a traditional touch with the addition of turned newel balls.

The ground floor of the house now has a more open and airy atmosphere, the rooms running together so that they feel more like one space.

The first floor was completely re fitted, with new bathrooms and rearranged bedrooms.

The appearance of the exterior of the house was improved with the addition of new dormers and cedar cladding.
